Why should I coat my walls?

Unlike like roof coating, there are numerous reasons why our customers choose to coat their walls… cosmetic appeal, protecting the property from further decline, looking for a maintenance free alternative to just painting with ordinary off the shelf paint and usually for most after a chat with us becomes all three

The process

Similar to roof coating it’s broken down into three stages… the clean, remedials and coating application.

The first stage of the job is the cleaning process in which the pressure varies depending on how dirty the walls are but also if they are smooth render, roughcast or harled.

Once cleaned it’s time to carry out any repairs, which usually means filling cracks on the wall but on occasion repairing a bossed section of the wall.

After the cleaning process it’s time to carefully mask off all windows doors etc to prevent any overspray.

Now finally onto the Wall Coating, the walls are spray coated with two coats of protective coating in colours of your choice.

The coating product comes in various colours to suit your needs, unlike ordinary masonry paint, the coating is a lot more weather resistant, it is breathable and dirt repellent which means the coating requires no maintenance or regular top up coats year after year.

The coating is temperature to -30°c to prevent flaking and peeling and has 400% elasticity to cope with expansion and contraction with change in temperature.
